Angry IP Scanner
Unofficial Android port — Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the Angry IP Scanner Android application (package name org.angryip.ipscan, the "App"). It explains what information the App handles and how.

Unofficial port. This App is an independent, unofficial Android port of the open-source Angry IP Scanner desktop application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the official Angry IP Scanner project at angryip.org.

1. Information We Collect

None. The App does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information or usage data. All network scanning is performed locally on your device, and scan results never leave your device unless you explicitly export or share them yourself.

2. Permissions the App Uses

The App requests no access to your location, contacts, storage, camera, microphone, or any other personal data.

3. Third-Party Services

The App contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs, and communicates with no servers operated by the developer or any third party.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the App collects no data, there is nothing held by the developer to retain or delete. Scan history and settings exist only on your device and are removed by uninstalling the App.

5. Changes to This Policy

If the App's behavior changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated before the change ships. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.

6. Contact
